The purpose of the partnership that was sponsored by SPARK was to target youth of a;ll gender and to “provide technical assistance in agronomy skills to youth with the aim to make them more productive and profitable while ensuring they engage in sustainable farming practices and promote agribusiness value chain in Somaliland.”
The Provision of training that included entrepreneurship skills and field extension services increased their knowledge hence increase produce and connects supply and market chains and is expected to greatly enhance their profitability and support the emergence of modern agricultural value chain as well as supply chains in Somaliland and wider region.
